Phase Linear 700 Complete Rebuild And Upgrade, Part 1. This is part one of a twopart documentary showing the complete rebuild and upgrade of a very early example of the famous Phase Linear Model 700 power amp. I used to own one of these amps (a 700 MKII), and I have worked on many of them, but this is the first time (I think) that someone has wanted to have EVERYTHING done at once. And it's definitely the first time I've rebuilt one this old. This one was made within the first year or two of production, and it's a bit different to most of the PL700's out there.

UPDATE 1/5/24: This unit will be coming back to the shop next week to have one more mod installed, and this one is one I am making myself. This mod will be covered in the second video in a couple of weeks.
