The Philippines said one of its navy sailors has been seriously injured in what it called an "intentional highspeed ramming" by the Chinese coast guard in the South China Sea. Manila said the incident took place during a resupply mission on Monday to the grounded Sierra Madre ship located near the Second Thomas Shoal. Both countries have traded blame for the collision. The Chinese coast guard said a Philippine resupply ship in the area "ignored many solemn warnings". Buena Bernal reports from Manila.
