A long time subscriber sent me a Philips sound bar to have a look at. He bought a job lot of 25 of them, and they all have the same fault. They overheat after about 15 minutes and start cutting out.
The person he purchased them from, had a container full of them, all with the same fault too!
He tried changing the amplifier chip on one, and it didn't make any difference.

Design problem? Wrong Component fitted?
Let's see if we can figure out a way to get them working again.
