This is a simple lick that can be used as in introduction. You could also take the first part of the lick and use it as a fill. Remember, when you are playing fills, you have to stay out of the way of the vocalists and the other lead instruments (guitar, fiddle, steel, etc.).

The lick actually starts on beat 3 (the meter is 4/4).
