In this threepart video (1:10 Dissecting, 5:34 Decoding, 8:28 Reassembling) I take apart a Burg Wächter 4 wheel combination lock (Combilock) with false gates (model "88 40 FUN"). I explain how the lock works internally and derive a method to defeat the false gates. Then I quickly decode another lock of the same model with this method. Finally, I reassemble the first lock and explain how changing the code works on these locks. This will give you a great insideview on how these locks work and how to decode them in general.
