People of Piisemwar Island

The second island in the outer islands which I have longed for is Piisemwar Island.

In fact, the destination I'd heard about before we left for this trip was the Mortlock Islands. The Mortlock Islands are located 250280 km south of Chuuk Atoll, further south than Nema, Piisemwar and Losap Island.

The day before departure, I carefully researched what the Moat Rock Islands were like their location and characteristics and made a memo. My preparation was perfect.

However, when it came time to leave, I was told that our destination was the Losap area. I had not researched that area at all, so I had no idea where it was or the name of the islands.

When I asked the name of the islands of Losap area to a government official, he called to Piisemwar as Piis. That's why I used to say "Piis Island" several times in the video.

It is not uncommon for island names to change in Chuuk, and perhaps neither is it a mistake. However, since the people who are actually residing on the island at the moment said Piisemwar, I think that is the correct name now.

That's my excuse, lol.

Next time, we will report on Losap Island out of the three islands. Enjoy!
