The maiden flight of the new Pilotrc 2.2m Matrix. Join us as Team Pilot Warren Bio take to the sky with the Matrix. In this video Warren demonstrates all the preparations he takes to ensure a successful maiden flight. Beginning with an extensive ground checks to include a taxi test and brakes check. Once he is confident that the jet is ready, he begins all his preflight checks. The Matrix performed very well with a 120n turbine at sea level. All that was required was 2 clicks of up elevator trim and the matrix was locked in flying straight as an arrow. The matrix demonstrated exceptional flight characteristics with a wide flight envelope. It was evident during the several flights that day that the matrix not only like to fly fast, but also handles very slow speed with ease.
