A string of frightening close calls at Pitt Meadows Regional Airport in B.C. have triggered an investigation, after a plane "cut off" several other aircraft in midair.
An incident report shows that on July 4, a privately owned Cessna flying from Langley to Pitt Meadows flew into the flight path of a Canadian Aviation College aircraft heading into a different runway.
When instructed to turn back the Cessna ended up cutting off a Vancouver Aviation College and Montair Aviation aircraft.
As Global’s Jennifer Palma reports, the plane's unpredictable behaviour ignited major safety concerns.
