On the 23rd of July, 1983 an Air Canada Boeing 767 carrying 69 people set off on a flight from Montreal to Edmonton with a stopover in Ottawa.
The first leg was uneventful, but on the way to Edmonton something very unusual would happen.
At almost 41,000 feet in the air, the plane suddenly ran out of fuel. Then, all of its engines lost power and its electronic systems followed suit.
