Probably one of my favourite videos to film, edit and upload this year. Every year on the 23rd December we go up to Heathrow to do a bit of spotting, usually at the Thistle hotel, which this year never happened. I ultimately decided to film with the wind behind me, not infront of me, so instead we visited Myrtle Avenue. All in all I think the decision was made good, either way there were good movements from both ends

For the first 15 minutes of footage is another attempt at the good old night filming. We got here about 6am, and I decided to get out the car around 6:20 and give it a shot, the end result was not too bad. Sadly it was within this period a lot of the vortices and wing condensation was present, if you look closely enough you can notice it, more particularly during twilight shots, but sadly a lot of that faded as the day came about. Some nice pinkish skies as well before the storm rolled in, as they say "Red sky at night, shepherd's delight. Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning"

Some of the bright aircraft lights at the beginning may also be disturbing, especially if you have Epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised
