The University of Victoria is leading Canadian universities in bringing climatefriendly menus to the campus community. In our new PassiveHouse certified Student Residence & Dining Facility, the netzero goals of the building are aligned with the food being served inside. Part of our “Pledge to Zero,” UVic has committed to decrease foodrelated GHG emissions by 30% (from the 2019 baseline), while providing plantforward, nutritious and delicious menus created by our chefs.
