Plaosan Temple is very famous as a monument of love, which is said to have been built by Rakai Pikatan for his queen, Pramodhawardhani. So it is not surprising how this temple has become a prewedding photography destination, with the hope that the love of couples who take pictures in its area will be eternal. This video tries to explore whether this understanding is true?
Through a search for primary sources, namely inscriptions found around Plaosan Temple, this video tries to uncover the true function of Plaosan Temple, and the important role of Rakai Pikatan in the classical history of the archipelago. Also how we should view Plaosan Temple as a national legacy.
