In this video you will know everything about Plato's theory of justice. You will know how plato rejected existing theories of justice at that time by giving proper reason and gave his own theory. Plato wanted to make athens ( Greece ) an ideal state and he considered establishing justice as the most important thing to establish ideal state. He gave his theory of justice in his famous book ' The Republic ' whose english translation is subtitled as 'Concerning Justice'. In Plato's republic Socrates is playing a character of a philosopher / teacher where he is asking questions about justice from his disciples and after rejecting their theory of justice he gave his own theory. In the last slide of this video we have also discussed about criticism of Plato's theory of justice. I have also provide my notes running on screen in the video which I have made from various good books and authentic sources.
