A mistake that I see women experience selfsabotage is: playing a game of hide and seek with their feelings… and getting stuck in the closet.

We love to tune out from our negative feelings, thinking that it’s actually possible to hide from them.

We’re scared to acknowledge our emotional nature in case we are seen as ‘emotional’, weak or vulnerable.

We’re led to believe that it is bad to feel sad, angry or ashamed. But the problem is that our feelings are real… and if we continue to suppress, ignore or reject our emotional nature, it can transform into the boogeyman in the cupboard…

Hello anxiety, depression or heart ache

Or worse, it jumps out to surprise you in unexpected ways… (think panic attacks or melt downs).

If we want to enjoy our life, feel empowered and in control then it’s crucial to acknowledge our emotional nature (it’s real and waaay important).

Reframing our emotions, learning to feel our feelings and working with our emotional nature supports us in creating an extraordinary life…
