Playing Minecraft on WINDOWS 8.1 in 2022. This was nostalgic.

Today I'm going to be trying to run Minecraft on Windows 8.1 and I will show you how much FPS it gives me and whether it runs well on a low end PC such as my eBay Gaming PC. Windows 8.1 originally came out in 2013 to a much better reception than Windows 8. It features a Metro style start menu with metro apps as well as a desktop mode which everyone used anyway.

Official support ends for Windows 8.1 next year so I have a look at it in this video and see if it is a good operating system today. Unlike on Windows 10 it comes with no preinstalled bloatware so straight away that improves my performance on a Low end PC but is it good for gaming? I try 1.8.9 Vanilla, Optifine and the LATEST 1.19 version on Windows 8.1

Gaming on Windows 8.1 is still possible most applications still support it fine but drivers are hard to find my graphics driver I had to install manually as you saw in this video.

My Specs are: Intel Core i5 4460, Asus Mini ATX Motherboard, 8GB DDR3 RAM and Intel HD Graphics 4400
