In April 2023, after spending two days in Budapest, I was traveling to Vilnius on LOT Polish Airlines via Budapest. As a Star Alliance Gold member, LOT Polish Airlines offered me complimentary access to the Plaza Premium Lounge.

Despite having visited several airport lounges before, I have never encountered such a disappointing lounge. All the food and soup containers were empty, and we had to scrape the bottom to get some rice. There were a couple of staff members chatting amongst themselves, completely ignoring the empty containers.

I’m not sure if this was an isolated incident or if it’s a regular occurrence. If I travel via Budapest again, I will use another Plaza Premium Lounge with my Priority Pass card.
