Hi everyone

Something different this week. The weather was so nice I thought I'd spend an afternoon in my garden doing a plein air oil sketch. The subject I chose was the garden tap & Aquilegia flowers that grow underneath it.

I really enjoyed this challenge and so did Basil as he snoozed in the sun! I even found out the various names of the lovely pink cottage garden flowers (such as Granny's Bonnet, Aquilegia and Columbine)!

I used a medium sized Rosemary & Co rigger brush, an Ivory flat (also by R & Co) and a cheap medium sized natural bristle round.
