This tutorial will show you how to take a PNG or JPG image and turn it into a layered SVG for free.

In this tutorial we will explore how you can create a scalable vector graphic aka SVG using a line art images from a google search. We will use the image trace function in Inkscape photo editor FREE software. BONUS TIP: After creating the SVG we need to remove the embedded image so that Easel does not populate an importing error.
This technique can be used to create SVG's of handwritten text, signatures, or even your personal sketches as well.
