Perhaps one of the most heartless and inhuman regimes of the latter half of the 20th Century, Pol Pot's 4 year rule over Cambodia from 1975 to 1979 was a genuine orgy of bloodshed and cruelty. It is hard to imagine these events taking place, but they did.

This is the story of Pol Pot's early life and rise to prominence in Cambodia. The war in Vietnam, the Cambodian Civil War and the Cambodian Genocide.
