In December 2022, the Archdioces of Krakow announced the start of the beatification process for Helenka Kmiec, and in April 24, an edict was issued announcing the official start of the process of beatification of the Polish missionary.

The beatification process of Helenka will begin on May 10, 2024 in the Chapel of the palace of the Archbishops of Krakow and from that moment she will be entitled to the title of Servant of God.
