Palm Beach State College brought police and civilian riders together in competition and camaraderie at their 2024 Panther Prowl Motorcycle Rodeo, March 1416. South Florida’s only combined law enforcement and civilian motorcycle competition, the rodeo took place at the 4.5acre skid pad of Palm Beach State’s Public Safety Training Center on the Lake Worth campus. Fifty riders from as far away as Canada and Michigan participated in two days of challenges, practice runs and training, followed by a day of timed competitions and awards. The event also featured a performance by the Fort Lauderdale HarleyDavidson Drill Team and a blessing of the bikes by Dr. Stan Sniezek, police chaplain of the Lake Clarke Shores Police Department and pastor of New Life Alliance Church. All proceeds benefited Palm Beach State students preparing for law enforcement careers. The motorcycle rodeo was the first event of the upcoming 2024 Palm Beach State College Invitational, April 29 to May 4, where more members of public safety agencies will showcase their abilities.
