https://www.savvyboater.com/boatfend... In this video you will learn how to inflate a Polyform buoy. First, unscrew the cap from the air valve with a flathead screwdriver. You may use either an air compressor or a Polyform Hand Pump to inflate the buoy.

If using an air compressor, set the compressor to 30 PSI or less, place the compressor nozzle over the valve airway of the buoy and inflate to a maximum of 2 PSI. No tip or attachment is needed.

When using the hand pump, insert the nozzle into the air valve and pump until full. The valve flap may not fully open when using a Polyform Hand Pump, so you may need to insert a blunt object prior to inflation. After inflation, you should be able to make a quarterinch indentation with your fingers, but, the buoy should still be fairly firm. Then, use your screwdriver to tighten the cap back into the valve.
