FEATURED BRAND: MANIAC LINE BY MAFRA
Simon asked me if I had time to perform a maintenance wash on his GT3 before winter arrives. I showcased his 997.1 GT3 in a video project in 2021, so I decided not to make a video. Imagine my dismay when he pulled up in his 2019 911 GT3 RS! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to share this project with my viewers.

In this video, I get right down to business and conduct what has become my signature maintenance wash process consisting of a thick styrofoamlike prewash and rinse, followed by a luxurious and satisfying merino wool mitt wash. I toweldried the car with the use of a drying aide before pulling out my Master Blaster to ensure no water remained in the many cracks and crevices.

I enjoyed the experience of working with the various Maniac Line by MAFRA products you see showcased in this video. That said, I wasn't overly impressed with the performance of the Wheel & Tyre Cleaner. I followed the dilution recommendations on the bottle (5:1), but I don't feel the cleaner had enough "bite" to it. Even after the preliminary wash, I was picking up dirt on the wheels when I conducted a final wipe down with the Exterior Quick Detailer. These wheels weren't overly dirty to begin with. I am curious to know what your opinion of the Wheel & Tire Cleaner is, if you have used it. The rest of the products performed flawlessly and I look forward to featuring the rest of the line in future videos. The Foam Gun Prewash was extraordinarily rad.
