On a tour of Portugal we stayed in Porto for only 2 days, so this is really a taster we found there’s lots more to see and experience.
During our visit there were lots of building / road works being carried out due to an extension to the Metro line to the Hospital.
JK Rowling lived in Porto for several years. Legend has it that the curving staircase in Livraria Lello & Irmão Bookshop was inspirational for the ‘Hogwarts’ grand staircase. Check out https://www.livrarialello.pt/
