In this video, I'm honoured to share the personal story of an ITU survivor and his amazing wife. Danny was hospitalised in the first wave of Covid19. Following a stormy period with his life on the precipice of existence, he made it through.

Like many survivors, they had/have to grapple with many of the issues raised in the 'PostIntensive Care Syndrome' video, some of which persist nearly three years later. We hope that by sharing their story with you, and any students or health professionals on here, it will raise awareness of PICS and the need for better rehab provision.

Just to note with apologies, that this was my first podcast style interview, and I forgot about the 29 minute recording limit on the camera filming Danny. So the last ~15 minutes don't feature his direct camera footage. We live, learn and hopefully improve!
