Ileostomy reversal after 2 months, you ask? I've been living with Crohn's Disease for several years, had an emergency ileostomy surgery in August 2014. At first, my doctors were reluctant to do an ileostomy reversal based on a review of how serious my Crohn's Disease flareups had been. One day out of the blue, though, I received a call from the surgeon and he advised that, what the heck, let's reverse it. So I had the ileostomy reversal in January 2015. It was a challenging road to recovery, mostly breathing issues and getting to walk again, but it wasn't so bad.
