Car and bike tyres can be inflated either with regular air, or with nitrogen. Regular air topups are mostly free at petrol pumps, or about Rs 1020 at tyrewalas. Nitrogen can cost upwards of Rs 50, even for a topup. So what’s better? In theory, 95% pure, dry Nitrogen is better and has some benefits but not as much as to affect your regular road use. 4thgrade science textbook will tell you that air has 78% nitrogen.
