Hi, guys! Roger thought of a cool craft made out of the trash Sam's picked up! So today we're going to make a safe blaster with pencils. So, we'll need lots of cover board!

First of all, we're making cover board sticks with a wooden core. Then we take the old spinners! You need to smash 6 old spinners and get the bearings out. Put them on the cover board sticks! Sammy made, glued and painted round pieces! And we are ready to put all the pieces together: the circles and the sticks with bearings. Then we secure our construction with a sturdy base. In the meantime the pencils throwing mechanism is ready. Then we need to make the blaster rotate automatically. Let’s use old drill pieces for that. Next, we get to the mechanism of the blaster handle. Here you will need wires and a soldering iron. A side part with a secret will hide the battery and wires! Be careful when working with wires!

We're upgrading the blaster a bit. Let's make it longer and add some decorative details! And do not forget about the place for our pencils. Now let's move to the mechanism pieces. Tiny pieces are parts of a complex mechanism! With its help our pencils will fall into the blaster.

So, when everything is ready we can test our mechanism and have fun!
