John Olson wakes up at 4:22am each morning to begin his life as a farmer. He could easily work through the night. Until, he started experiencing severe breathing issues that impacted every aspect of his life. He learned that he was suffering from a paralyzed diaphragm and like many, was told to learn to live with the condition.

After researching about phrenic nerve injuries, John found Dr. Matthew Kaufman and underwent phrenic nerve surgery at The Institute for Advanced Reconstruction in New Jersey. He sits down to share his inspiring story!
