If you understand how the basic systems work, you can fix several problems that may occur yourself. I watched a video of a guy unboxing this snowblower from Amazon, used it for just a short while on one day, the drive mechanism quit on him, and he boxed it up and sent it back. He didn't want to mess with fixing a new machine, and I can't blame him, but it may have been a simple fix like mine was, a 10 cent part and a couple of minutes.
