It is unfortunate that some people don't understand that history is made up by mankind, especially when referring to ancient times, as there is an obvious lack of tangible proofs (i.e. documents which could have been destroyed with the fall of the Empire). Therefore, this interpretation, made by Chao Kaing, of the Khmer history is only another potential interpretation of the carvings left by our ancestors. Unlike other specialists, we aren't trying to make our ancient history fit into other's shoes/boxes (i.e. Indian history)...
