Pre rup is the brick temple with three levels built in 961 AD by the clever King Rajendravarman II. The five towers structure symbolizes Mont Meru, Hindu Gods adobe. Beside Linga of Shiva gods named Rajendrabhadresvara, one statue was found in its compound with the inscription Isvarupa. This manuscript on sandstone statue was probably transformed in the local dialectic sound as Vrah Rup which becomes now as Pre Rup, the present name of that pyramid. In particular, Pre Rup is located on the line of successive sites from Wat Phu (actual Laos), Koh Ker Phnom Bok and Angkor Wat later. These implication respective corresponds to the astrological orbit of 9 stars or nine planets which was found in the library. These 9 panets are called as Navagriva.
