Precipice Trail in Beautiful Fall Foliage (GO PRO 4K) | Acadia National Park

Come on this virtual hike on the 2.6 mile Precipice Trail in Acadia National Park. It is often listed as the "most dangerous" and "most adventurous" hike in Maine according to many lists due to the vertical climb where you elevate 1000 ft in 0.9 miles. However, it actually is not too bad as it's a nontechnical climb with rungs and ladders that help you climb to the summit. Once you reach the top of Champlain Mount, you will be rewarded with beautiful views, especially if you are here in the fall.

I tried to keep this as unfiltered/unedited as possible so that you can watch through this and see what the hike really looks like. Hence no music, no voice overs, etc. You'll hear us talking here and there though.

This hike is from early October. Only the ascent is shown as my Go Pro died towards the top. We took the loop back, which took us through forest and there weren't many views anyway.
