Predator 212 cc Fuel Problem- TroyBilt Econo-Horse

The focus of today is a plugged main jet on a 212 cc Predator. I was given this TroyBilt EconoHorse a few years ago fitted with the original Tecumseh engine with the reverse pulley built into the engine. Instead of working on the newly rebuilt but nonrunning engine, the decision was made for go for a Predator replacement from Harbor Freight. Right out of the box it started and performed perfectly the whole season. Sitting a couple months, it failed to start in the late fall. The fuel is always treated with PriG as soon as it is brought to my shop in 5 gallon containers. I have never had an issue with gas treated with this product until now. I have to believe it was just a fluke, simply because of all the years of satisfaction I have enjoyed with the product.
With the bowl and the main jet removed I could see an opaque and solid blockage across the tiny orifice. A quick shot of carb cleaner and a 100 psi blast of air cleared the blockage and it fired up once again with the first pull of the cord.
I cannot understand why the issue showed up on this engine as the first failure of the fuel stabilizer I have been so reliant on for the last several years.
Once again I failed to even think of making a video until the repair was almost completed. It was a simple fix though and am glad to get it back to reliable operation.
