On this episode of Super Starts with Ms. Rebecca we'll be learning about Ocean animals! We will sing songs, learn all about animals we might find in the ocean, act like ocean animals, visit an aquarium and the ocean on a field trip. We will also be learning all about the letter O! (O is for Octopus!) While learning about ocean animals we will also practice colors, shapes, counting, letter sounds/phonics, rhyming and more toddler skills/preschool skills!

Super Starts gives babies, toddlers and preschoolers a super start to their early childhood education! My current mission is to make a video for EVERY letter of the alphabet!

ABOUT THE SHOW

Welcome to Super Starts, an online preschool experience for babies, toddlers and of course, preschoolers! I'm Ms. Rebecca, author and illustrator of children's books as well as a former elementary teacher with an Education Degree and Communication and Culture Degree. I am specifically passionate about quality education for little ones as someone who is a mom myself!

It is realistic that little ones spend time in the day with screens and I believe it is the quality of the shows watched that make all the difference and can make screen time as beneficial as possible to developing young minds. With quality entertainment in mind, this video and all of my other videos aim to be educational, entertaining, non stimulating, and created to the best of my abilities as I’m a one person show. Super Starts provides a homeschool experience with some Montessori influence. It may be suitable for audiences who are even kindergarten age and up, in addition to those who want to learn English! It certainly isn’t easy to find ways to homeschool toddlers, or homeschool preschool children, and so I hope that these videos will have their place and be helpful! Covering a new letter from the alphabet and theme every week with these videos (supplemented with your own activities, books etc.) as part of a homeschool curriculum can be an excellent way to help little ones learn their abc’s and be more ready for kindergarten!

No one said parenting and raising little ones is easy, but don’t worry, you’re doing a great job because you care. Keep going!
