The Primary Weapon Systems MK114 MOD1 is a 14.5” pinned and welded overall length rifle and packed full of features. The M LOK hand guard and BCM furniture are a great touch. It’s a well finished piston AR and a great suppressor host. Piston guns give you the ability to change gas settings in the fly for suppressors or dirty guns needing to function in the worst of conditions.

We shot this rifle a lot using Magpul Pmags, Lancer magazines and KCI AR mags. It shoots flat, functioned flawlessly and is no doubt built for a lifetime of service. Whether it’s the fit and finish, bullet proof long stroke piston design like an AK 47, or the spotless reputation of PWS, you can count on this rifle. The only downfalll? It doesn’t have a full ambidextrous lower receiver like the MK114 MOD2 or MK116 MOD2.

The rifle was set up with a Unity Tactical Fast Riser for the Aimpoint Micro Red Dot sights. In fact I mounted my Aimpoint Duty RDS and let it rip.
