I don’t think I’m alone in not using named grid lines very often. They are something I dismissed early on because I figured line numbers were good enough and faster to use, and if I wanted named stuff, I’d simply use grid areas instead.

Plus, having lined names makes for ridiculously long declarations.

Despite that though, I’ve seen the light and in this video I’m going to do my best to convince you that you should be using named grid lines by going through three awesome things that they make possible, each one being cooler than the last… or at least I think so!
