Integrated Psychological Care: Promoting Positive Mental Health across the Pediatric Oncology Illness Trajectory

Speaker: Niki Jurbergs, PhD

Dr. Niki Jurbergs, PhD, is an associate faculty member and clinic director of the Psychology Department at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. Niki Jurbergs earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University. She completed her doctoral internship at the University of Miami’s Leonard Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Jurbergs has been serving the patients and families of St. Jude since 2005, where she and her colleagues promote positive coping and resilience in the face of lifethreatening illnesses. She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Psychology, the American Psychological Association, and the American Psychosocial Oncology Society.
