Squatters rule in California! This video shows the Property Manager making entry into a Property where the tenant hasn’t paid rent in several years. This was NOT an eviction. This has been the first time someone has gotten inside the unit due to the tenant blocking access.

The backstory on Rent: GoldenWest didn’t place the tenant, we only took over after they were in. A month later, Covid hit. This was the biggest culprit in the tenant not paying for so long. From March 2020 on, Rent was NOT being paid...and the eviction Moratorium and other byproducts of Covid moratoriums have made it difficult to get the tenant to vacate the property. As of now, the tenant is currently in the court system, slowly working towards justice for the landlord.

This is not every Tenant nor is this a normal situation, but it is what can happen under the worst circumstances.
