Welcome to the Broadmoor! Colorado Springs OLDEST, Most Famous, Largest and IMO one of the Most AMAZING Hotels I've EVER been to! This property has AMAZING Mediterranean Style Architecture, and this property is SO HUGE and SO BEAUTIFUL & COOL I spent OVER 3 HOURS EXPLORING this place! The Main Original Hotel Tower opened in 1918, and the Resort was expanded numerous times with the South Tower opening in 1961, The Broadmoor West in the 1970s, the West Tower in the 1990s, the Lakeside Suites in 2001 and a couple of Two Story Wings in the Early 2010s. Most of the elevators have been modernized/updated or are modern to begin with, but they keyword, 'Most"..... I think you guys will be impressed with the Service Elevators in the South Tower! The Elevators here all looked different and were very different and we had a LARGE variety here (Otis Series 2, Series 4, Series 1, Newer Series 1, Thyssenkrupp MAD BS Hydros and Otis Black Button!) and ALL of the elevators were VERY BEAUTIFUL and very nice in their own way! That said though, forgetting about the elevators for a second, this Hotel is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and I HIGHLY Recommend checking it out and exploring it if you ever visit Colorado Springs, and due to how BEAUTIFUL Each and Every Inch of the property is, I decided to make this into a partial Hotel Tour showing ALL of the Elevators as opposed to uploading a bunch of single elevator videos. Some of them we got to look at but unfortunately couldn't ride, but in this video, we ride the vast majority of them!
