The 2019 CrossFit Games season was chaotic and no one really knew how to qualify for the CrossFit Games. The athletes were told if they won a sancitonal event, they would earn a spot to the Games. Mat Fraser and a handful of other top CrossFit Games competitors found their way to Dubai to compete in the first sanctional of the 2019 CrossFit Games season.
