The 2019 CrossFit Games season was chaotic and no one really knew how to qualify for the CrossFit Games. The athletes were told if they won a sancitonal event, they would earn a spot to the Games. Patrick Vellner, TiaClair Toomey and a handful of other top CrossFit Games competitors found their way to Miami to compete in the second sanctional of the 2019 CrossFit Games season.
