PS5 Controller Won't Connect to your PS5 Console [Easy Method]

Iron Point Tech

If your PS5 controller won't connect to your PS5 console, then follow these simple steps.

First, we'll enable the controller to connect via bluetooth. On your controller, hold down the PS button and the share button for a few seconds until the lights on the controller start blinking rapidly. Then go into the bluetooth settings on your PS5 console and connect to the Dualsense controller.

The 2nd step is taking a USBC cable and connecting it to your PS5 and then plugging it in to your PS5 Dualsense controller. Once it's plugged in, press the PS button and the controller should automatically connect. You can then unplug the cable and the controller should work remotely.

If those steps don't work, then turn off your PS5 and turn it back on. Then you'll want to reset your controller. There is a small hole on the back of the Dualsense controller, press that button for 5 to 10 seconds to reset the controller. Once the controller has been reset, then plug it back into the PlayStation console and press the PS button to reconnect the controller.

If nothing connected the controller, then check your PS5 system settings and see if your console is updated to the newest firmware. If not, then update your console.
