Zoom Webinar Recording
The mission of the Stanford Center for Clinical Research (SCCR) includes offering educational resources, training, and support for investigators and research staff. We have invited SCCR’s Postdoctoral research Fellow, Dr. Julio Nunes, MD, to provide you with an overview of the most common presentations of psychiatric syndromes that patients may present within the clinical research setting.
At the conclusion of this class, you will be able to:
Recognize the most common acute mental health syndromes
Mitigate risks for both participants and staff
Trace firstaid management of acute emergency situations
Elaborate ”safetyplans” for the patient to follow at home
Reflect upon personal biases regarding mental health disorders
