Our first backpacking trip of the season was full of snow fields, wet socks, and most importantly, a ridge traverse that nearly pushed us to our limit! The Crystal Range Traverse in Desolation Wilderness spans over 2 miles, hitting 4 peaks along the way it's a challenging scramble but a worthy adventure and a great test of our new gear! But first, we need to find a place to pitch our tent and camp for the night! It feels so good to finally be back in the mountains. Subscribe for more!
