In this video I will show you how to make a nice hillshade in QGIS. The standard hillshade options make the SRTM digital elevation model look dark and the flat areas are bumpy, which is not good for presentation. We will work with the Zfactor and the interpolation settings to come up with a smooth, professional hillshade.
