Most people are aware of the two major players in the desktop CPU market: Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Intel Corporation (Intel)the proverbial "Team Red" and "Team Blue." And yet, at one time, there was a third player in the game, Cyrix Corporation. Here's the story of what happened to Cyrix.
