Bonjour! 'Bonjour' and 'Parlezvous anglais' are what saved us in Montreal and Quebec City because our French is horrible. To sum up the Christmas Markets, I feel like the one in Quebec is great for families (I noticed more families here than Montreal), but we actually liked the markets in Montreal more for some reason. The churros at Grand Marche were amazing, all the architecture, lights and activities put me in the Christmas mood. I wish we stayed a day or two extra in Montreal. With Quebec City, you can get everything done all in one day. You can easily do a 2 day or even 1 day Christmas trip here. Overall, we had a lot of fun, and for the first time ever I actually wanted to stay longer BECAUSE of the snow.
