This is the second show of the Hot Space Tour and the earliest circulating recording from it. Although Queen would return to Sweden's capital one more time in 1986, this is their final show at the Johanneshovs Isstadion, a venue they had visited already in 1977 and 1978 respectively. With no recording of the last night's concert in Gothenburg being available, this is the earliest recording with an additional musician: Morgan Fisher, former keyboardist of befriended rock group "Mott the Hoople" has joined the band as keyboardist but due to creative disagreements, their cooperation would end prematurely after the famous show at the National Bowl on June 5th. Tonight, Morgan is put into the spotlight during a oneoff joined guitar and keyboard solo but generally Morgan would often stay in the background on this tour.

The setlist has been changed for the new tour as well. The idea of a medley has been scrapped entirely although "Get Down, Make Love" has stayed, being played on its own for the first couple of shows before being cut down and transitioning into Brian's guitar solo each night. After having been played on the previous tour already, "Flash's Theme" and "The Hero" make for a grande start to the show. "Liar" has been revived for the first time in three years due to a survey within the official Queen fan club. Unfortunately, it would be dropped after only one month and never be heard again in its full glory. Interestingly enough, only three "new" songs are performed tonight, with "Under Pressure" already having been released and performed back in 1981. More songs would be added along the tour.
