We finally had the chance to go looking for snakes together! And with a little help, we set out to find all 6 snake species that call the Northern Okanagan home! Our targets were the Northern Pacific Rattlesnake, Great Basin Gopher Snake, Northern Rubber Boa, Yellow Bellied Racer, Western Terrestrial Garter Snake, and the Common (Valley) Garter Snake. As usual, we found a lot of snakes, but we also came across a number of other strange and wonderful animals! Check out part 1 here!

Why do we do it? We love reptiles and amphibians and spreading awareness for these amazing, but often misrepresented, creatures that few people know much about!
